The closed beta of MIUI 12.5 is available now. With the ‘Early Access’ registration process, 21 models will get MIUI 12.5. For registration, users must participate via “Early Access.” For now, the closed beta MIUI 12.5 will be available for installation in China, while the availability of MIUI 12.5 in India is expected by early 2021. The next MIUI update before MIUI 13 comes in the form of the MIUI 12.5 update.
Xiaomi has suspended the beta program for MIUI 12.5. So far, the MIUI 12 update has officially been rolled out for 31 Xiaomi devices so far, and MIUI 12.5 will come first with the Mi 11 series.
In essence, MIUI 12.5 will be the base update before MIUI 13 is released. MIUI 12.5 is already being developed by Xiaomi, and the first to run on the latest UI platform will be the Mi 11 series. The basis for the next MIUI 13 will be the upcoming changes and optimizations.
