Download GCam for LG V40 ThinQ (Google Camera APK Port Install)

The LG V40 ThinQ features a glass back and a metal side frame, which feels very sturdy but at the same time, makes the phone very slippery. It features a 6.4-inch OLED display with a QHD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB. Dual 4G VoLTE is also supported. The V40 ThinQ runs on a custom skin that’s based on Android 8.1 Oreo. There are three cameras at the back, which include a standard sensor, a wide-angle sensor and a telephoto sensor. You also get two cameras in the front, which include a standard and wide-angle sensor. Image quality is good in most lighting conditions and the phone has good video capabilities too. The phone also has a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support.

Camera Specification

The camera setup is another big differentiating factor between this phone and LG’s G series. The V40 ThinQ has three cameras at the back and two in the front. At the back, there’s a 12-megapixel standard shooter with a f/1.5 aperture, dual PDAF, OIS, and a pixel size of 1.4 microns. Next is a 12-megapixel telephoto camera which offers 2x optical zoom, an aperture of f/2.4 and autofocus. Finally, you get a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera with an aperture of f/1.9 but no autofocus.

What is Google Camera (Gcam)!
If you’re a mobile photography lover then you should know about the GCam app. But if you don’t know, then the Google Camera app offers plenty of useful features like Portrait mode, AR Stickers, Google Lens suggestion, PhotoSphere, Lens Blur, Night Sight, HDR+ enhanced, RAW image support, and more. All of these features can also be found on other stock camera apps but they can’t be so effective when it comes to the performance.

The Google Camera app simply delivers the best in the class image and video quality even in low lighting conditions. The portrait mode, saturation level, brightness level, exposure, dynamic range, background blur effect with nice edge detection, etc are properly maintained on the images taken from the GCam app. Form the very first use, you can start noticing the difference.

Important Notes!
So, If you installed the APK and when you try to open it, it is not working? No problem, we have got you covered.

1. Check Camera2API support: Google Camera needs Camera2API support on your device to work properly. How to check if your phone has Camer2API support? Follow this guide: How To Check Camera2 API Support on Android? Find Out.
