Download GCam for Honor 9X (Google Camera APK Port Install)

Honor 9X succeeds the Honor 8X and brings some notable aesthetic as well as performance upgrades. The notch-less full-HD+ display is sufficiently sharp and punchy, but outdoor visibility is a bit sub-par and the large size makes one-handed usage difficult. The Kirin 710F ticking at its heart handles day-to-day tasks with ease, but it stutters at graphics-intensive games, and synthetic benchmarks narrate the same story as well.

Camera Specification

On paper, the Honor 9X offers fairly impressive cameras for its price, but the actual output is a mixed bag. The main 48-megapixel camera takes 12-megapixel pixel-binned photos by default. These shots looked okay, with decent contrast and dynamic range, but average details at best The camera app’s AI mode tends to boost contrast and saturation, so we had to manually turn it off to capture accurate colours.

In the case of actual 48-megapixel photos, details were better, but at the cost of noise. What we didn’t like was the oversharpening done to the photos, making them appear noticeably soft. We also often got blander colours in photos captured at the full 48-megapixel resolution under direct sunlight. Autofocus was reliable in daylight, but in low-light scenarios, we had to deal with some focusing errors.

What is Google Camera (Gcam)!
If you’re a mobile photography lover then you should know about the GCam app. But if you don’t know, then the Google Camera app offers plenty of useful features like Portrait mode, AR Stickers, Google Lens suggestion, PhotoSphere, Lens Blur, Night Sight, HDR+ enhanced, RAW image support, and more. All of these features can also be found on other stock camera apps but they can’t be so effective when it comes to the performance.

The Google Camera app simply delivers the best in the class image and video quality even in low lighting conditions. The portrait mode, saturation level, brightness level, exposure, dynamic range, background blur effect with nice edge detection, etc are properly maintained on the images taken from the GCam app. Form the very first use, you can start noticing the difference.

Important Notes!
So, If you installed the APK and when you try to open it, it is not working? No problem, we have got you covered.
